The Athlete
Huzaifa Ismat is a young endurance athlete from Pakistan. His goal is simple to say and hard to do: finish a full Ironman. So he trains across all three sports, from open water to the bike to the marathon road, and keeps chipping away at going a little longer and a little faster.
In just one year he has already finished a full 42.2 km marathon, a handful of half marathons, some rocky mountain trails and sprint triathlons. He even ran the Islamabad Half Marathon in a full suit, which got him interviewed on national TV. Every race is one more step toward that Ironman start line.

The Three Disciplines
Every triathlon starts in the water. From open-water swims in a wetsuit to early laps in the pool, this is where the whole day begins.
The bike leg is about holding power and staying patient. Long road miles and fast group rides are where that fitness gets built.
The run is the part he loves most. Full marathons on the road, plus rocky ITRA-rated trails up in the Margalla Hills.
